2012 Cooper Cup Race Series

The Cooper Cup is an Alpine Ski Race Series open to the Public. This year it will include 4 GS races.
The entry fee for all races is $5.00 per person. The races are open to Alpine and Telemark Skiers
and Snowboarders of all ages. Racers compete in the following age categories for male and female
racers : 5 and under, 6 to 9, 10 to 15, 16 to 20, 21 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 and up. All races are held on the Ski Cooper "Black Powder" Race Arena.

Registration is in the Ski Cooper Lodge the morning of the races from 9:00am to 11:00 am. Racers may inspect the course and take 1 practice run up until noon. Each racer gets 2 timed race runs starting at noon. All races are scored in and results submitted to "Nastar".

Awards are based upon the best time for each racer. Medals are awarded to the top 3 male and
female finishers in each age group. Awards parties after each race will include presentation
of the medals, a drawing for prizes among all competitors, snacks, and a cash bar.
