Hello applicant,
Thank you for your interest in employment at Ski Cooper. There may be
openings for Lift Operators, Rental Shop, Race, Retail, Ski Patrol, Tickets,
Nursery, and Ski School. You may pick up an application. at the Ski Cooper
Business Office, 1101 Poplar St. in Leadville. Office hours are Mon. through
Fri. 8 AM to 5 PM. Applications may be mailed. Contact by phone 719-486-3684 or

THINGS TO KNOW
All positions are seasonal
Beginning wage is $8.00 per hour
Ski Patrol applicants are required to have a current EMTB license or a
current certification by the National Ski Patrol "Outdoor Emergency Care"
Ski school employees are paid on a commission basis only
Raises are based on merit and skill level
We do not offer employee housing or transportation. Leadville is 10 miles
south of the ski area
We are not able to sponsor international workers. If you have a work visa we
may employ you
Holidays (Christmas, Spring break, etc) are our busy times. You are expected
to work
Submitting a job application is not a guarantee for employment

APPEARANCE
Clothes and/or uniforms must be appropriate for your work area and must be
neat and clean.
Neatly trimmed mustaches and beards are acceptable.Beards must be
established by the first day of hire. Hair should be neatly cut and clean.
Unnatural hair coloring or dreadlocks are not permitted.
Earrings must be of the post type and approved by administration, other
visible body piercing is not allowed.
We will be holding a job fair on Saturday, October 31st and
Saturday, November 7th 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at the ski area
Mountain Lodge.
