Fall Photos = The Start of Winter at Ski Cooper
What Happens at Colorado Ski Resorts in Fall?
Ah, the crisp air of fall, the warm sunshine and the cool breezes. There's nothing like fall in Colorado.
Brief as it may be, this year Fall has lasted over a month at Ski Cooper. Leaves are still changing, still on the trees, and a bountiful crop of oranges and reds have appeared throughout the state, uncharacteristically so. But what does this mean to the skier?
It means early snowfall, but sunshine still abundant. It means perfect preparation for another great ski season in Colorado. We've gotten our hints that Old Man Winter is coming, but we still get to enjoy the hiking, fishing, biking and more with the last few days of good weather. Here are some photos of what's going on at the most affordable and historic ski resort in Colorado - Ski Cooper.

Cooper calling your name. topped with snow.
So when it snowed Friday October 6, everyone here at Ski Cooper got super excited for the snow to come. While we still have to take kids to soccer games, have Friday night high school football, raking to do at home, winterizing the house and pulling out our snow clothes and putting away the summer gear, the snow is the reason we live here.
