Leadville Winter Mountain Bike Series

These unique and exciting races occur throughout the winter in and around Leadville. Utilizing groomed nordic ski trails and snowmobile trails, these races are a great way
to keep riding and racing during the off-season. Three of the races are even held at night!

A typical course is 12 miles with a mix of spine-tingling conditions. Cost is $20 per race.

All proceeds from the race series go towards Cloud City Wheelers advocacy efforts. These races always end with plenty of tasty food and beverages, laughter and dang good times. Come on up and enjoy the ride!

Jan. 19th – Copper en Fuego
Get ready for a great mountain bike course with crazy spectators, a heated brick paver section, and fireworks to finish it off! Copper Mountain hosts their second nighttime Winter Mountain Bike Race with Fireworks and more!
Registration starts at 4 pm at the Jacks, race starts at 6 pm.

Feb. 2nd – Tennessee Pass Night Jam
Bring your lights to Tennessee Pass Nordic Center for a fast race through the trees at Ski Cooper.
5pm Register/Check In @ Tennessee Pass Nordic Center, Race starts @ 7pm

March 2nd – Mineral Belt Mayhem
An 11 mile loop on Leadville’s beautiful Mineral Belt Trail at Night! Start and finish on Harrison Ave. during Leadville’s Crystal Carnival Weekend.
5pm Register/Check In @ Cycles of Life, 309 Harrison Ave., Race starts @ 7pm

April 13th – East Side Epic
A tour of Leadville’s historic Mining District.
8am Register/Check In @ Cycles of Life, 309 Harrison Ave.
Race starts @ 10am @ 700 East 8th St.
