Important Information for Parents of Children in Ski School

Or help make your child's day (and yours) more enjoyable! Certainly this information will help both of us have a successful day on the slopes and reduce your stress level!

For Panda Parents and Children's Nursery Parents, listed below are pointers to help you prepare your child for a day on the snow and make for a successful trip to Ski Cooper.

Recognize that your child needs the same weather protection that you do. Prepare your child for a day on the snow. This includes dressing your child for a day outdoors.

We recommend: warm coat, waterproof pants, long underwear, warm socks, sun block, hat, goggles, waterproof mittens and neck warmer.

Ensure your child has the correct size boot and skis. If there is any doubt on ski length, go short.

We do not recommend ski poles for Panda Cubs or Panda Patrollers.Rental fitting starts as soon as you get to the mountain. Technicans in the Rental Shop will assure a perfect fit.

Sign in your child at the Panda Room by 9:30.

Prior to the start of class, your child should have eaten and visited the restroom.

A child who does not want to be in class will be offered the option of a private lesson.

A child who is unable or unwilling to participate in class will be taken to the nursery and an attempt will be made to notify parents.

Class ends at 3:00.

The same parent who signed the child in must sign the child out at the end of the day.

Parents who do not promptly pick-up their child at 3:00 will be charged a baby-sitting fee.

If the weather becomes severe, refunds will be made.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Children’s Program Director.
