Bike racing in the dark at 10,424 feet? On a groomed Nordic track? Through the trees at Ski Cooper? That’s right! Join Tennessee Pass Nordic Center for the Tennessee Pass Night Jam, this Saturday, February 4.
Registration and check-in begin at 5:00 at the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center with the race starting at 7:00. Cost is $20.00 with proceeds going to the Cloud City Wheelers advocacy efforts. The Tennessee Pass Night Jam is one of four unique and exciting winter mountain bike races held in and around Leadville, Colorado. Utilizing groomed nordic ski trails and snowmobile trails, these races are a great way to keep riding and racing during the winter ski season. A typical course is approximately 12 miles, mixing winter chill with spine-tingling conditions in the dark of night.
There will be plenty of tasty food and beverages, laughter and FUN! So, dust off your mountain bike and get your headlamps ready for a night of fun and biking, yes biking, at the Tennessee Pass Night Jam!
