Racers participate in YSL (Youth Ski League) Races under the organizational structure of the Rocky Mountain Division (RMD) of the United States Ski Association (USSA). Here in Colorado YSL is further divided into two “Councils”, Cloud City Ski Club being in the East Council.

Here are some of the rules:

Children five to fourteen years as of December 31 of the year in question are eligible.

Classifications (boys and girls compete in their own classes)

J7 - Age 5 and 6
J6 - Ages 7 and 8
J5 - Ages 9 and 10
J4 - Ages 11 and 12
J3 - Ages 13 and 14

All participants are required to be members of USSA and RMD.
