We want to sincerely thank everyone who spent time with us at Cooper this season. Your support, patience, and enthusiasm truly mean the world to us—you are a valued part of the Cooper family, and we’re incredibly grateful we were able to stay open as long as we did during such a historically low snow year.
With the recent heat wave and an increasingly thin snow base, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to close for the season. Our final day will be Sunday, March 22, 2026. This is not the outcome we had hoped for, and we know it’s disappointing. Please know we did everything we could to extend the season and keep the mountain open for you. Please check our website if you will be coming this week as our plans may be altered with limited trails or an earlier closing if needed.
We also want to recognize our amazing Cooper team. Their dedication, creativity, and hard work—moving snow and maintaining terrain day after day—made it possible for us to stretch this season as far as we did. We couldn’t be more grateful for their efforts.
For those who have purchased day passes, rentals, or lessons beyond our closing day, refunds will be issued. We appreciate your patience as we work through these as quickly as possible.
While this season didn’t bring the conditions we all hoped for, we’re already looking ahead with optimism. Thank you again for being part of this season with us—we hope to welcome you back next year to better snow and brighter days.
Wishing you all a wonderful summer,
The Cooper Team
