Tentative 2012-2013 Opening/Closing Date Schedule:
Dec 21 - April 7, 2013 Open daily for the season.
Lifts are open 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (Backside lift closes at 3:30 pm)
Rental Shop 8 am to 4:30 pm
Ticket Office 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
The Mountain
- Is located atop Tennessee Pass 9 miles west of historic Leadville, Colorado on Highway 24, only 25-35 minutes from Copper Mountain, Summit County and Vail and Beaver Creek.
- Is known for abundant and REAL snow, lack of lift lines, affordability and skiing or riding for everyone. The mountain has some of the best snow in the Rocky Mountains.
- Has an unusually rich history and prime location, and has earned recognition as one of the nation's most successful and innovative smaller ski areas.
- Has parking within walking distance to the base area with ease - no need to worry about misplacing members of the family and spending the day rounding them up.
- Is known as the training ground for the 10th Mountain Division in preparation for World War II. Please visit the veterans' Memorial at the entrance to Ski Cooper.
